I thought it was a perfect call-back to the show represented by that final song. Trying not to do a spoiler here because I really thought that was brilliant.

Far and away the best of the past three seasons and the finale was the best episode of the last 30. Bring Bobby Farrely back for more work!

Just watch the final sequence again. Tell Nightingale Cummings to put that shit up on iTunes and make some mad skrilla! Brilliantly filmed. Maybe some of the best cinematography of the entire run.

The season started out decent, but the Snoop Dogg and Tom Arnold episodes totally ruined it for me, and possibly the show along with it. However, I am sure plenty of people will like it because they will like anything with Snoop Dogg and/or weed, while I do not care for either.
It is a bit sad, because following a few stagnant seasons, season 9 was hilarious (to be fair, J-Roc stole the spotlight), so I had high hopes for another great season.
I hate how you guys turned Trailer Park Boys into some sort of a cheesy meta caricature of itself with this whole dumb Swearnet thing you keep trying to do, and the embarrassing live shows as well. I hate how the characters are now self-aware of being TV personalities and celebrities, it totally ruins the immersion and the down-to-Earth feel of the original seasons.
    Cheers.

While I found more to like in Season 10, I cannot argue with the basic points made here about being a meta caricature, the dumbness of Swearnet and the self-awareness of the characters. I have been struggling since the reboot to find these words. Thanks for bringing this up.

By the way, the painfully low Rotten Tomatoes rating for Swearnet the Movie should have been a wakeup call.

I hate to say it but this whole season was painfully disappointing. The Tom/Snoop/Doug episodes were appalling: if you are going to break the fourth wall, you need to put some actual thought into it and maybe explore the possible repercussions of Julian, Ricky, Bubbles & Co. becoming accidental celebrities. Also, you might give some thought to your representations of women: here, they are either whores or harridans. (The butch dyke Barb subplot was simultaneously very weak and carried off more than a little whiff of misogyny.)

Overall, I’d say you guys really need to think about WHY you are doing this show. If it’s just to make money or cram practically every scene with greasy adverts or to suck up to various celebrities… well, the best of luck to you and I guess Season 10 was nothing less than a triumph. But if you want to make a good show, a memorable show, a show that people can actually love, you really need to go back to basics and try to discover what it is that made this particular show special in the first place.

Painfully good criticism. I have to generally agree. The Bobby Farrelly episode was pretty good. Makes me wonder if you guys just need a good show runner. Clattenberg, Volpe and Dunn are sorely missing from the chemistry.

I don’t think I could ever say anything TPB was “painfully disappointing” or worry about them “breaking the fourth wall” and in fact, Trailer Park Girls can be just as Greasy as Trailer Park Boys, I think is the point, nothing to do with the creators/writers/actors/etc. being misogynistic … at all! Time and again the TPWomen have proved themselves to be far more level headed than the Boys (as level headed as a TPBorG could be anyway:-). You have the right to take things the way you see them and express your opinions but anything TPB is not exactly “Masterpiece Theater” over here. It’s laid back, feel good, smart/stupid and lovable fun! Always has been and always will be, for me anyway! I don’t say “I am going to watch me some TPB” I usually say something like “I’m gonna get a good buzz on and head to Sunnyvale and hang with the Boys for a bit.” Try not to take things to seriously Bud …

If you havent watched season 10 and want to see J roc, save yourself the trouble and go to youtube and watch his Trailer Park Boys S10 Behind the Scenes clip, its 4 minutes long, probably longer than hes in the entire season 10. So many people not hardly shown in the episodes, its ridiculous. Then you have freakin tom arnold as a tpb fanboy and stupid snoop dog as basically a new main character. Unbelievable. And dont get me started on Barb and her new bull d**e friend. Its the most ignorant story line ever. Seriously, they wasted so much time on her. I wish they could bring back Ray and Mike and try to save this show but its just too late. I really hope they cancel this show. Its time. Now Im gonna go watch season 4.

I completely agree about the terrible decision to add Snoop and Tom Arnold. They added nothing and took away the Canadian essence of the show by injecting the poison of Hollywood. That was a “jump the shark” decision and it makes me less enthusiastic about seeing the series continue at all. If either of them is back for season 11 I will pass. Such a shame too because I thought season 9 was one of the best.

This was an amazing season. I didn’t laugh out loud as much as the last two seasons, which was fine, since this season wasn’t aiming for silly. It really reminded me of the first seasons of the show, but with 16 additional years of character development. In my opinion, I think this was one of the best seasons. Looking forward to S11, and I’m ok with waiting a year. 🙂 The last two episodes sat heavy on the heart and they’re going to take a bit of time to digest. 🙂 I wanted to hug Randy so much in this season. I love his tender heart.

As far as the celebrities. I could take or leave them. I don’t think they added or took away from the show, but I thought they were going to be residents in the park, not playing themselves.

Fucking GREAT so far (haven’t finished it yet but I’m almost there). A few key moments had me pissing myself laughing, specifically the Caveman in the carpet, and Ricky and Lucy coming through the wall! Bobanders is just as lovable as ever and poor Jim…still getting the shaft! lol The cameos were fun (LOVE the Lucy scream!!) but you so don’t need them, you boys fuckin’ GOT THIS all on your own!! Good job directing, Cory!! Excellent energy in this season all the way around! A fuckin’ plus!!!

I thought it was the best season yet! The cast did an amazing job with their acting. The writing was awesome. The cameos were nice, but certainly not needed for this season to be as great as it was. There were a few things i felt weren’t necessary, but definitely no complaints from me! The last 2 episodes were incredible and full of emotion. Can’t wait for season 11. Big thanks to Mike, JP, Robb, and everyone else involved that made this season happen. Very happy fan right here!

I always thought trinity was Julian’s , so I’m glad he walked her “down the isle” but I don’t hit laheys secret .. And don’t like it at all … Although I felt 10 was strong overall … Loved seeing Leslie again!! Donna was truly wasted

I know a lot of people didn’t dig the snoop/tom arnold scenario but the focus should be on the strong finish. Season 10 got real with some serious story lines i.e. ricky in a coma and julian leaving the park. I hope this is not the end of the show.

I would like to see the first half of season 11 where the boys, Ricky, bubbles, randy, cory and jacob, leave there comfort zone of the park and venture out to search for julian and bring him home. I would like to see the boys get into fucked up situations out in the real world like in “Don’t legalize it” and see how it plays out.

    SEASON 11?

You can’t please everyone. In my opinion S10 was one of the best, I don’t want to go into extreme detail to refrain from spoiling it for other viewers but I felt as if the last episode was amazing, It gives me hope going forward and something to look forward to. I thought bringing in Snoop was great for a while but I can see how it would be easy to over do it with the celebrity guest appearances. I think we all fell in love with that greasy trailer park show and don’t want to see it stray away from what made us fans in the first place. You guys are amazing, I’m a fan of everything you do, thank you for creating this brand and dedicating so much of your time and energy to making us fans happy. I look forward to Season 11 and hopefully many many many more!!

Just finished watching the season. Man, this show has gotten me through some rough times. I happen to be one of the watchers that appreciates the show’s progression; the way the personalities continue to evolve, as well as the way Swearnet, itself, is incorporated – it all speaks to the dedication you guys have to producing something that never becomes stale. Moments that could have “jumped the shark” would have done exactly that, if you guys didn’t care. The fans care, too, obviously – even those more critical than myself, most of whom don’t throw around a lot of mean-spirited bullshit. And when some thumbless dickmitten does otherwise, rest assured that doesn’t represent the majority. There’s a lot of artistry and a lot of complexity here, as with every project I’ve seen from you, and I look forward to every one of those.

If I had to make one change to the series it would be to add more episodes per season. I love this show so much that when a new season releases it’s everything I can do to not binge watch all 10 episodes in one night. I’d like to see somewhere around 15 episodes instead, other than that I couldn’t be happier with the show.

So much agree. The fact that there’s surely footage that doesn’t get used notwithstanding, it’s quite a feat to pack as much into ten episodes as the boys do. Fifteen sounds like a good number, though, I have to admit.

Honestly they need to kill off:

    – Sam Losco
    – Barb
    – Candy
    – Donna/Don
    – Private Dancer
    – JRoc’s son
    – Trinity
    – Trinitys baby
    – Sebastian Bach
    – Roc-Pile (excluding T and J-Roc of course)

    Bring back
    – Dennis
    – Terry
    – Dennis and Terrys Grandma
    – Cyrus
    – George Green
    – Ted Johnson

Also somebody please for love of God cut down on Bubbles screen time. He was a great character early on, maybe because he appeared far less in the early seasons and was considerably more “innocent”, but he is just obnoxious and mean spirited now.

On yo Ricky. Falling down every episode has been played out to death. It was amusing when it happened every so often during the original 7 seasons (can probably count the number of times on one hand it happened, through season 1-7), but it’s not funny anymore… especially since it happens every episode. Also please, please, please stop with Ricky screwing up every other word when he is saying something. We get the whole ” ricky-isms”, but just like the whole falling down schtick, it too is getting old. Also no more random yelling. Ricky is not Donny/”Danny”. I did enjoy the scenario where Ricky had to finagle his way out of a situation with the cops… but in the very same episode he does it again with security guards when they’re stealing bikes. This is once again a matter of learning how to use moderation, and not overusing the attributes a character has to the point of it getting annoying (ie Ricky falling down, ricky-isms, tricking the cops). You sprinkle this around, and not take the fucking cap off and dump it all in at once.

Julian up next. As is the case with Bubbles, he seems to have adopted a bit of a mean streak, it seems. Julian was always the one who did what needed to be done, but never would I have suspected him to pull a gun on either Bubbles or Ricky. Friends have fights, but they never essentially tell each other to go fuck themselves. I guess it makes sense why he would leave the park at the end of season 10, as all the way through this last season he just seems to be in edge and it all led up to that.

Lastly, bring back the shit-mobile. I don’t want to see Ricky driving around some other car. I want to see Ricky drive around the shit-mobile. If it’s briek down, fix that file of crap and get it running again. God knows you have the budget to do so.

In regards to the list of characters who need to be killed off, I think this is more a matter of quality over quantity. There’s just way too many people on screen at once, and really the need to focus on the core group of people: Ricky, Julian, Jim Lahey, Randy, J-Toc, T, Sarah, Lucy, Cory, Jacob (please God get rid of Trinity), and a half dozen of the other extras will nicely compliment the show.

And lastly, get Randy back on the cheeseburgers and Mr. Lahey at a controllable level on the liquor (somewhere between a blood alcohol level of ~.12)

I have followed you guys since the first season, and I LOVE every bit of it. Including Swearnet. Seeing Randy hanging in the hockey ring, then again from the helicopter. Hearing him scream for his life…. Priceless… And my favorite episode is the one where they pave Ricky’s dads drive with the stolen Hash. Then after that, Julian just keeps their Corvette. I still laugh about that. But I have a question and a criticism of the new season. I know Jacob is a huge part of the show now, and everyone loved seeing Cory return. Is there any chance of a return of Trevor? And my criticism… I absolutely fucking hate that turtle whore fat dyke that Barb has now. I liked Barb. You guys made seeing them on screen unbearable. But will I still watch? Of fucking course boys! I’m a TPBs fan through and through.

  23. speaker4thedead
    April 15, 2016 at 2:35 pm

Don’t pay any attention to the cock fuck above me. Cut Trinity? She has been a mainstay since the beginning…. You can’t cut her. And the ricky-isms, if you don’t like it, get the fuck out. Those are some of the reasons people watch this show.

That being said, I will agree seeing Ricky trip is old. Not funny anymore. But as foe everything else that shiny cock tweed before me said, he needs bubbles dick in his mouth. Maybe that will shut him the fuck up

Oh and to whoever said that about Swearnet score on Rotten Tomatoes or whatever, comedy never gets good ratings. You normally only see drama and some action get good critic scores. Go to IMDB and search for actual people posting and not what the paid critics get paid to say.

I’m an American and didn’t know this show existed until 2008 when it played on Directv’s obscure “101” network. The first episode I saw was from season 5, tuned in as J-roc was explaining the grocery hustle he had going on. It was hilarious, and I started watching all the seasons online.

Seasons 1-6 were absolute gold. The dialogue was funny and clever. The mockumentary angle was still visible.

Season 7 was a transition from the golden years to the upcoming shitfest.

Everything made for Netflix has been genuinely terrible. The characters are totally different, and not in a good way. They are all caricatures of their former selves, no depth at all and I don’t care if they live or die. Not even the previously endearing Bubbles. The wit is gone. It’s now just people falling, acting drunk, and getting erections.

It’s not hard to figure out what the problem is. Without Clattenburgs writing and direction, the show is an absolute waste of time and energy. After season 7 I was pleasantly surprised with “Say goodnight to the bad guys” as it felt like REAL TPB. But then Netflix.

The “Boys” can’t write and the money they spent obtaining the rights to the show would’ve been better spent at the VLT’s.

    Please let this show die.
